Whether you are starting up a business, developing your company or thinking of relocating to Havant, a number of services are available to help you.
We have a wide range of information, guidance and support, all designed to help your business succeed.
Support for your business
As businesses like yours look to a brighter future, following restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic, Havant Borough Council has teamed with local support providers to help you make the most of business opportunities.
Want to improve your business and its online presence?
Running a business can be tough and sometimes lonely. The Havant Business Hub has been developed to provide you with an opportunity to network with like-minded businesses - to work together and share ideas.
The hub will also provide pre-recorded short films with advice on marketing, finance, and recruitment as well as live events where you can join in and ask questions.
If you need specialist help from any of the presenters, this can also be provided on a one-to-one basis at no cost to you (such support being limited to no more than four hours per business).
For more information and to sign up please visit The Hub.
Free mental health support for you and your staff
The pandemic has had a dramatic effect on the mental wellbeing of businesses and residents up and down the country.
If you or your staff are struggling with the burden of the last few years, Havant and East Hants Mind (Mind) - a charity set up to help anyone struggling with their mental wellbeing - is working with the council to provide wellbeing support to small employers and their staff.
Those accessing the service after the 9 May will get:
- a confidential point of contact with Mind workplace wellbeing practitioners
- one to one holistic wellbeing assessment
- wellbeing action plan with personalised and realistic goals
- up to six 45 min sessions of support with a professional wellbeing practitioner
- information, Mind resources and signposting to other sources of help to improve wellbeing
The service is 100% confidential.
The number of referrals is limited by capacity of Mind resource. In periods of high intensity there may be a waiting list.
To book your wellbeing assessment or to find out more information for your business email Mind on bizwellbeing@easthantsmind.org
